0xprocessing Adds Support of New Blockchain Networks: Bitcoin Cash, Polygon, Arbitrum ONE
We are thrilled to announce support for Bitcoin Cash, Polygon, Arbitrum ONE, further expanding 0xprocessing’s list of supported networks! With the addition of 3 new blockchains, 11 tokens have become available on the platform. Read the article to find out more about them!
Bitcoin Cash is a peer-to-peer electronic cash system that aims to become one with sound global money and fast payments, micro fees, privacy and larger block sizes. Notably, the network’s transaction fees are significantly lower than those of Bitcoin, averaging at an affordable range of $0.20 to $0.25 per transaction.
You can use BCH as a cryptocurrency for accepting payments.
Polygon (formerly Matic Network) is a Layer 2 scaling solution backed by Binance and Coinbase. The project seeks to stimulate mass adoption of cryptocurrencies by resolving the problems of scalability on many blockchains. Polygon boasts of up to 65,000 transactions per second on a single side chain, along with a respectable block confirmation time of less than two seconds.
There are tokens available on the platform: MATIC, USDT (POLYGON), USDC (POLYGON), DAI (POLYGON), WETH (POLYGON), BUSD (POLYGON)
Another key feature we have added into the latest 0xprocessing update is support for Arbitrum ONE. Arbitrum is an Ethereum layer-two (L2) scaling solution. It uses optimistic rollups to achieve its goals of improving speed, scalability and cost-efficiency on Ethereum. Arbitrum benefits from the security and compatibility of Ethereum. Another benefit is the higher throughput and lower fees as compared to Ethereum. That has been made possible thanks to moving most of the computation and storage load off-chain.
Among tokens available on the Arbitrum ONE network at 0xprocessing are ETH (ARB1), USDT (ARB1), DAI (ARB1), USDC (ARB1), WBTC (ARB1).
This massive update has allowed 0xprocessing to support 13 of the most popular blockchains, including Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Tron, Avalanche, Solana, Arbitrum One, Polygon, Ripple, Dash and Doge.
Moreover, merchants can now use more than 50 tokens to accept payment for goods and services from their customers.
New blockchains and coins available for use in any of the configuration options.
Adding Bitcoin Cash, Polygon, Arbitrum ONE to our list of supported networks is another fundamental milestone on our journey to expanding access to the vast crypto ecosystem.
We look forward to supporting new crypto projects on our mission to unlock the next era of financial and personal freedom.
